Rowan graduated with a BFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. During their schooling they freelanced as a graphic designer in fashion and beauty, and went on to work full time at iHeartRadio doing design and illustration. During the pandemic they worked at the experiential/events Agency, Superfly as a graphic designer. Partnering with Vicki Sando, they illustrated and self-published the first educational children's book about green roofs, What Is A Green Roof?  They would love to create more more picture books and book cover designs in the future.

 

In 2023 they received tattoo mentor guidance and left Superfly to pursue other creative careers. Due to their passion for mental health and community expression through art, they started teaching in 2024 with St. Nicks alliance, an agency that runs after school and summer enrichment programs in public schools around Brooklyn. They are currently teaching part time.

 

Rowan started self-teaching tattooing in 2022, practicing on themself and friends. They obtained a tattoo license in 2023 and love to tattoo commissions and flash from home, and flash pop ups at local events.
